Ingredients
- 1 large bunch swiss chard, rough chopped
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 4 tbsp water
- pinch of dried crushed red pepper or cayenne
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt
Instructions
- Rinse the chard well and remove the tough centers of each stalk.
- Roughly chop the leaves.
- Heat a large saucepan (or wok) to medium heat and saute the garlic and crushed pepper in 2 tbsp water and 1 tbsp butter for about 1 min.
- Add swiss chard leaves and cover, adding water as needed to keep it fry drying out. Check after about 5 min, stirring if needed.
- Stir, cover again and cook for 5 more min.
- Add salt and butter to taste.
