Turkey Herb Stuffing

Notes — Can be stuffed into a turkey, or cooked in a metal pan covered in foil. Use different types of bread for the cubes and don’t add more than the 1 cup of chicken stock or else it will boil over or be soggy. (unknown kcal/burrito)

Ingredients

  • 16 cups of 1 inch bread crumbs (about 2 full loaves)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cups celery, diced
  • 2 granny smith apples, unpeeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp flat leaf parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Instructions

  2. Cut bread into cubes, put cubes on a metal baking sheet(s) and bake them in the oven for 7 min. (The more dry, the better).

  4. Combine bread cubes and cooked vegetables. Mix them in a large bowl.

  6. Stuff in turkey and cook. (Or cook at 350˚F until the top is crispy)
