Egg Noodles

Notes — Good on their own, but awesome in chicken noodle soup. (600kcal/recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Beat eggs and then add to the flour. Mix well together until solid lumps form. Mixture will be sticky.
  3. Chill in bowl for a minimum of 30 min.
  4. On a floured surface take 1/2 dough mix at a time. Roll to maximum of 1/4 inch thickness. (As this as you like is fine though)
  5. Use a pizza cutter to cut into strips of desired thickness.
  6. Freeze until ready to cook
  7. Boil in broth until tender to cook. (If you are cooking these into chicken noodle soup, add them at the end and let them boil in the soup)
